Grainer 1.0: how did it go?

Eight questions, each answered with a button, then a box for anything else. Your answers are saved on this page as you go. At the end, one button opens an email with everything filled in, or copies it for Discord.

Remember: Grainer doesn't add grain itself. Open the converted copy from the Grainer album in Photos, tap Edit, then Styles, and pick a Texture there.

1. After converting a photo, did the Texture section appear in the Photos editor?

Edit, then Styles. It should show Standard, Soft Skin, Glow and Film.

2. Did Film grain render, and did it look right to you?

Film preset, grain on, intensity up. It's meant to match the newest iPhone exactly.

3. On a photo with a face, did Soft Skin or Glow do anything?

Best judged on a sharp, well-lit face at 100 percent. The effect is subtle by design.

4. Did the share sheet route work? (Photos, Share, Grainer)
5. Live Photos: did the converted copy stay a Live Photo?
6. Were any photos refused as not eligible?

Expected for ProRAW, edited, cropped or re-shared photos. Unexpected for a plain camera original.

7. Did you use the Mac app?
8. Was it clear what Grainer does and how to use it?
